I Live In Italy And Have Been In Lockdown For 21 Days
I live in Italy.
I’ve now been in lockdown for 21 days.
Does it bother me?
Not particularly.
Does waiting in line to get into the supermarket bother me?
Not particularly.
It’s my chance to spend some time outdoors.
Does not being able to meet up with friends bother me?
Not particularly.
I meet them online.
Has it affected my coaching business?
Not at all.
Remember 2008?
I lived in Iceland in 2008 when the whole country went bankrupt and all Icelanders were declared terrorists by UK. (Utterly surreal, I tell you!)
Back then there was a lot of fear around people losing their jobs and income. And yes, some people lost their money, their jobs, and business closed.
Did it affect me then?
Not particularly.
In fact, I created a new business that provided me with income for 10 years.
It is NEVER about what happens.
It is ALWAYS about what you choose.
If you choose that coronavirus and lockdowns will be scary and terrible and it’ll affect your income because people can’t afford to pay you anymore and you have discount your offers or give it all away for free?
That’s exactly what you’ll get.
If you choose that no-one and nothing outside of you have any power over your life, that you hold all the power to make it exactly how you want it?
That’s exactly what you’ll get.
And if I choose that I will thrive and even grow my coaching business right now during the coronavirus lockdowns?
That’s exactly what I will get.
Do I believe that nobody can afford me now?
Sure.
But that has always been, and will always be, the case. So nothing different there.
But with 7 billion people in the world, there are absolutely others that can easily afford me. And now is *their* time. In my case as a business coach for spiritual entrepreneurs, it’s people who want to finally create that spiritual business they yearn for, or to take the one they already have to the next level, whether that’s $5000 per month or even more.
Is this predatory and taking advantage of people in a tough situation?
No, it’s not.
It’s me doing my part, right now, in making the world a better place by helping spiritual entrepreneurs have a much bigger impact. I help them reach many more people in a world that needs them NOW.

If you’re a spiritual entrepreneur, it may take a little tweaking of your offer, or a pivot. But absolutely yes. With the world as it is right now? There is no time when you’ll ever be more needed.
Because, while some people will have less income (and that is true for any time, not just now) the truth is ALSO that there are a lot people who are still getting paid full salary but have nothing to spend their money on, whether shopping, traveling, concerts, movies, restaurants, even gas for their cars.
And here’s another truth: a lot of those people are eager to have new experiences, try out new things, to finally do the-things-they’ve-dreamed-of-but-always-postponed-until-a-mythical-better-time NOW, while they are experiencing a forced staycation, bored out of their minds. And very little to distract themselves with.
If you are not a spiritual entrepreneur, then how can you turn this lockdown into the best time of your life? Being afraid, worrying, stressed about all you can’t do anything about is a waste of you and your energy and your time as it won’t make one ounce of difference.
So flip it around:
What is it you’ve postponed until you had the time, that you now have the time to dive deep into?
Singing lessons? Get an online singing coach!
Getting in great shape? Get an online personal trainer.
Put your health in first place? Get a health coach.
Have better sex? Get a sex coach
Make your relationships better? Hire a coach of whatever specialty fits the relationship you want to make better.
Write a business plan? Hire someone to walk you through it.
Create or grow your dream business? Give it everything you have so you can truly serve your soul clients, many of whom need you more than ever.
